Dog Gone
Had big dog
Name was Charley,
Left him with
A dish of bones,
Said stay there
Left for a while,
Then got back
Dog gone !
That darn dog
Darn gone,
Had guard dog
Guard my house,
Mighty big
Rather dum though,
House was robbed
Dead of night,
Following morn
Dog gone !
That darn dog
Darn gone,
Had a greyhound
Very fast,
Beat most everything
On track,
He went so fast
Down the straight,
Couldn't stop,
Dog gone !
That darn dog
Darn gone,
Had a pup
Very small,
Hardly was a dog
At all
Went and built
A tiny house,
Put it in
Dog gone !
That darn dogs
Still there.
Tony
