ISSUE Eleven - June 2013 Coles News 11 Website is moving.

COLES CRANES SITE IS MOVING When I started this site is was as much an exercise in building a website as a record of Coles. When it started mainly about a record of the Model cranes, the scale model cranes I had made. My main interest was in finding out what other vintage crane I may have been ask to make so I was digging out the past of Coles. Because there was nothing else on the internet about Coles I quickly found I was being contacted by people who had worked for Coles and who were giving me pictures and information. Well I became more and more drawn into the story and collected images and historical data obsessively and the site grew and grew. SITE UPDATE Not knowing how big the site was going to be I started it on my internet service providers free space which the was NTL. As the site grew however it became difficult to squeeze all the images in the 50MB provided so quality and size of images and site had to be compromised. Now I have Finally getting round to a complete update ment sorting out my database long over due. Thehis site has now found a new home with Goodle Site, this means larger and more images are possable, also included in this update will be more documents on particular items and histories you can download as PDF files to keep.
