Water
The water came down
In gigantic great showers,
Down from the clouds
For hundreds and hours,
The water was splashing
The water was wet,
The water was wetter
Than wet can get,
It soaked down my wellies
It got up my mack,
It even splashed
Got under my hat,
Running or standing
Or hiding in trees,
I had to accept
I was bound to be wet.
