Cheering an Elephant
You will gather
When an elephant,
Begins to sneeze
Deliberately,
He's wanting someone's
Sympathy,
Because he's feeling
Sad,
So talk to him
Quite tenderly,
And say to him
You quite agree,
If he mentions things
Important,
That seem so
At the time,
Offer him
A cup of tea,
A peace of bread
Or cake,
And if he starts
To wander off,
Insist that he should
Stay,
So if you see
An elephant
Who's looking rather sad,
Perhaps this little
Remedy,
Will cheer him up
A spell.
