" We will go and get some ladders and scaffolding from the lorry." said Bodget. Bodget and Brown went to get the things they needed from the back of the lorry which was parked a little way down the road. When Bodget and Brown got back with some of the things, there was another man standing with Constable Nowthen on the pavement, he two was looking up at the chimney.Mrs Letterworth had also come out to join Constable Nowthen, Bodget, Brown and the stranger, all standing on the pavement looking up at the crooked chimney.
