Little Terry Turnvale has a bunk bed.
Terry sleeps on the top bed of the bunk bed and Terry thinks his bunk bed is just magic.
Terry has small brother called Little Tim. Little Tim sleeps on the bottom of the bunk bed and he is definitely not magic.
Little Tim is not grown up yet, he is only four and still sleep with teddy, monkey, spiky and foggy. This all makes for a very full bed.
Terry on the other hand is very grown up, he is eight and a half and does not need all these toys to go to bed with.
Terry still has Octie of course, you can not go to bed without anybody, can you. Also Octie is very useful for swinging down at your little brother on the bottom bunk when you want him to shut up.
Every night after Little Tim has been tucked up in bed, Terry will start his bounce to bed time.
He will start by bouncing upstairs, then he will bounce into the bathroom to clean his teeth, bounce into his pajamas, then bounce up to his top bunk and bounce into bed.
Well one day, Terry Turnvale bounced one bounce too much.
Terry bounced into bed grabbing Octie as usual, but this time Terry over bounced and bounced right out of the bed again, right out and over the side.
Not the side where the bedroom was, with Little Tim on the bottom bunk, but the other side where the bedroom wall should have been.
When Terry had over bounced before he had just hit the wall and landed back in bed.
Today he found himself falling, falling, falling into, well Terry did not know what.
He was falling into a magnolia coloured mist, the colour of the bedroom wall.
Terry could not see anything but he knew he was falling down, falling very slowly.
Gradually Terry found he could make out some shapes, as the shapes got closer Terry could see they were magnolia flowers.
The flowers began drifting past in ones and twos, then there were more as he fell further and further down until the sky was full of magnolia flowers.
