BOOKS Now a collectors item the 'Coles 100 years' book was not an item for sale but was distributed widely amongst buyers and agents. It may have been sold to staff perhaps someone might know. The Acro book, 'A sucess story' was pure sale pitch and seems some what ironic now Acro having gone into liquidation due to bad management. |

Drivers Badge If you went through the drivers school at the works you were given a certificate and a badge. |
Model Husky Between the end of Acro and the end of Grove ownership, Grove produced this little collectable Husky. Now quite rare and in good condition worth about £200. Needless to say I don't have one of these. |
Coasters A very odd item a series coasters in a presentation box. I would have said they were a promotional item but they have only vintage cranes on them. |
Cifflinks Obviously a handout for the 100 years anniversary to selected senior staff. |
Strike a light Matchcase advert from the days when reps handed this sort of thing out as everyone smoked. Not meny around I wouldnt think, all went up on smoke. |

A Bridge too far Not exactly a colectable. The rail bridge at Pallion commonly known as "Steels" bridge because it carried an advert for Steels Engineering Works. By 1982 it had been repainted as Coles Cranes. Although the bridge still exists all industry has long departed from Pallion. |

Coles playing card Seen on E-bay as a single card but I can't imagine this was not an advertising give away of packs of playing cards. |
